I feel for Britney , I really do. Even though she’s a young, hot millionaire mom, I feel she’s still one of the sweetest in the music industry, and someone who got used by a loved one. But, there’s no excuse for the documentary she’s making about her stardom and subsequent spiral to madness. In the trailer below, she says she’s more guarded now and that for a time wanted to shut out the blitz and lead a normal life. Not one year after her admission to a psych-ward, and here she is opening up to the world yet again. And we’re left asking the inevitable: Who are you fooling?

Just saw Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies‘ video and my initial reaction was “So B. is essentially saying that if you liked my (literal) ass you should’ve put a ring on my finger.” Lovely! The entire video, although displaying great choreography, has Beyonce and her sidekicks point to their derrières, squat suggestively while grinding to the floor, and faux-spanking.  So, Beyonce, what you’re saying is that there’s value in a tight female body that can bump and grind, and only then is it justifiable to demand the guy marry you?

Well, this is a very fitting song for the bubble-gum crowd. With lines like “And I like my bluetooth, buttons comin’ loose/I need my hands free/Then I let my mind roam/Playing with my ringtone,” the song is the heralding of a new kind of sex education and a surefire pleaser for parents everywhere. Hey, preteens having phone sex is better than actual sex – this way their minds may get corrupted, and they may even experience a ‘premature world-weariness’ , but at least they’ll be physically healthy and not pregnant! So, yea, do your thing Britney: Educate our lusty 10 year olds about technology and its sexual benefits.

What’s Gossip Girl all about? Is it more than just another teen drama? GG boys and girls live in a fully adult world save for the fact that they’re young and in high school. They party, dance, mate, drive in fancy rides, wear swanky clothes, play with the latest gadgets. They scheme and cheat their way through most everything. They’re cold, rational, cruel, calculating. They’re snarky, ironic, mean-spirited. They are in fact, children living in an adult world, or rather, adults living in a childish world. They lack spirit and fun, innocence, hope, optimism, beauty and freshness. They are only 17!

Unlike real adults, GG inhabitants have no real responsibilities like bills, mortgages, loans, marriages, or jobs. They have all the glitz and trappings of adulthood minus the distress. Sex is their number one concern. There’s even a resident Casanova, young he may be though. I always thought the art or craft of knowing and seducing women needed years to cultivate and hone; Not so in GG. Our womanizer, Chuck Bass, is only 17. I can only assume he started practicing his art at 7.

Is GG enjoyable to adults who yearn for eternal youth or to jaded youth devoid of all freshness who yearn for an adulthood of no consequences?

F: i think the series has given her more fame than she deserves

F: I always wonder whether women do realise that is very brainwashing!

Me: No!

F: Women here in europe, young women, love the show

Me: Not there too. Why?

F: because it’s so unrealistic, it’s like a dream world

Me: Unfortunatelly it’s partly realistic here.

F: They are describing their problems, while drinking coktails and going out every night, wearing fancy clothes, and buying 1 pair of shoes every day. And women here who love this, are students, or too young to actually afford such a lifestyle

Me: Yea well, there are women like that here believe it or not, but they just don’t dress that crazy or sound that fake. But they do sleep around and drink all the time.

F: I’ll tell you, a girl that thinks like you about this, doesn’t happen very often

Thanks to the technological advances of these past few years and the relative affordability of gadgets, many students are bringing tech-toys with them to school and recording the eight hours of hell they are subjected to in New York City public high schools. A few months back, Brooklyn’s John Dewey High was in the news because of an incident involving weapons. A few days later, internet searches for John Dewey turned up disturbing videos of students ganging up on each other with no security in sight. A far cry from our days in Brooklyn High!

Here we present you with some raw footage of high school ‘education’ for the other half. We intend to keep reporting on the despicable conditions of high schools in all the five boroughs of New York, so stay tuned as we investigate this matter as far as we can.

Where’s security?

This is a local Brooklyn station sensationalizing the gun story, and instead of decrying the deplorable conditions these children are subjected to everyday, they ask for more metal detectors, because, you know, 15-year-olds with guns are a given these days and there aint nothing we can do about it:

Lingering and even rapping and dancing in hallways…where are the teachers? Where’s security? At least these kids are engaging in constructive interaction, but still…..
